For decades, Flip Pallot has shared his knowledge, enthusiasm and friendship with countless anglers in the pursuit of some of the most challenging fish around the world. Flip's experiences have made us better anglers and better stewards of the environment. Now he's sharing his experience once more through the Mangrove rod series. Built with the hardcore angler in mind, the Mangrove series fly rods utilize the proprietary TiCr blank coating, which helps protect the rod from occasional collision with weighted fly, and TFO's durable, proprietary Tactical Series™ guides, which are braid and saltwater safe. The unique non-glare chestnut-coloured blank features a full wells grip with and instant rod weight burled cork ID system, fighting butts on the 6- through 10- and 12-weight, and cleverly machined hook keepers on each side of the aluminium up-locking reel seat.

Temple Fork TiCr X rods are handsomely finished in a rich blue blank colour, with Flor grade cork and an aluminium reel seat with cushioned reel hood. Rods equipped with a fighting butt also have a channel lock sliding hood with double locking rings and feature full wells drips. Six- weight and larger rods get oversized titanium oxide stripping guides. The 5- and 6-weights (lt) have a reversed full wells grip, single up-locking reel seats and matte black graphite inserts.

TiCr X Conversion Kit

Imagine a two-handed and a 9-foot four-piece rod, both of which will fit in a 34-inch long case. TFO's TiCr X conversion kit gives you two lower sections designed to replace the single-handed grip on any 7- and 8-weight TiCr X. With a total of six rod sections of equal length, you can now carry both a traditional fly rod, and an 11-foot 3-inch two-handed for easy overhead distance casting. TiCr X two-handed conversion sections include a full two-handed grip with Flor grade cork and a heavy-duty knurled reel seat, large titanium oxide stripping guides and a handsome rod sock.

Renowned two-handed experts Mike Kinney and Bob Meiser have combined their design expertise to create the Deer Creek Switch rod series. Switch rods are multi-task fly rods specifically designed to allow a variety of both single and two-handed caster options. The primary goal of the Switch rod is to allow the caster the ability to achieve maximum targeted forward distance with least amount of expended energy. Bob Meiser has been in the forefront of popularizing and refining blank designs for the switch rod concept of fly rods since the mid 1990s. His expertise with this unique family of rods is well established within the two-handed rod community. Bob's concept has been universally accepted over the past decade. Teaming with Mike Kinney in design and application for these rods has taken the concept to the next level. TFO has used the proprietary Axiom material lay-up process for these blanks.
