In order to ensure a high-strength connection as well as a sensitive contact to the fish, Maxima's Braid is pre-stretched and heat-fixed. |

Cortland has been braiding Dacron line for over 50 years, and today Cortland trolling lines are renown for tight, round, hollow weaves that splice easily and consistently break at just below the stated pound test. Available in 50 and 80 pound test, other size available by special order, in traditional Greenspot fleck and black, Cortland's tournament ready Dacron comes in spools from 600 to 2500 yards. Black and Greenspot I.G.F.A. rated mould and rot resistant. |

Cortland C-16 Super Braid

Cortland C-16 Super Braid is braided with a hollow core for fast and reliable splicing. Tight, round weave and uniform pick count (wraps per inch) for an exceptionally smooth surface that packs tightly on the spool with no flattening or digging in. FibreTech penetrates the weave and bonds with the individual Spectra fibres to stiffen and improve the handling characteristics of the line. Fine diameter minimizes line drag when trolling or fighting fish. 16-carrier construction results in incredible resistance to nicks and abrasions. Available in a white or chartreuse. |
